I was searching for a vet for my cat initially and Village was close to where I was going to be living and had pretty good reviews. I could not possibly be happier with my experience there. Since that time, my husband and I also adopted a puppy and have taken both pets to Village Veterinary. We recently had to put our cat down, and I will be forever grateful for the grace and compassion shown by the entire staff. They were able to accommodate us in a reasonable timeframe and with a vet with whom we had a good relationship. Shortly after, we also received a hand-written note from our vet expressing her condolences. Overall they made the process as meaningful as possible. Village Vet is staffed by truly warm, compassionate people who treat pets with care and dignity. They are easy to communicate with and have job-friendly hours. I would recommend this office to anyone who cares about their pets.
Dr. Chen was very thorough and precise. He had a great bedside manner with the dog and me. He was able to discern that my dog's eye did not need to be removed nor would it "explode." He really put me at ease regarding my dog's health.
I was referred to Dr. Chen from Fountain City Animal Hospital for my 13-year-old dog's eye issue. I had a former vet (Butler Animal Clinic) tell me that his eye had an ulcer, was going to explode, and needed to be removed.
We just moved to Knoxville and looked at reviews online and decided to try out this clinic. Dr. Catherine Moe and the techs were amazing with our two huskies today!! We were really impressed. Our dogs get a little nervous at the vet and she took her time and made our babies feel comfortable before doing anything. Highly recommend!
