Even if you don't pay for "Camp Lange," the staff doesn't mind if you call while you're gone to check up on your special one (or ones).
In fact, Dr. Milam went above & beyond in suggesting several possible courses of action/ways to save money because I have several other pets at home. He immediately saw the potential for multiple vet visits without more aggressive preventative measures being taken......and to help avoid that, he took the time to help me formulate a plan. His focus is the animal's well-being and the fair treatment (pricing) of the owner....very refreshing.
I also like the fact that Lange Animal Hospital has separate entrances for cat owners/exotics and dog owners.

Vet and staff were amazing, gentle, and patient with my cat (who needed surgery-).
If you want your pet to receive extra attention while boarding, try "Camp Lange" (for an extra fee). You pet will get special play time or cuddle time with a staff member, and you'll receive photographs or videos of your pet via your cell phone while you're gone.
Besides the ordinary well-pet services that one would expect, Lange Animal Hospital offers boarding. I like being able to board my pet where her medical records are located just in case a medical issue would arise in my absence.
I have used Lange Animal Hospital for all my pet"s care since 1970 and have always been pleased with them.
New to the area and did not know of a Vet for our new Puppy. Saw the good reviews about Lange and we are sure glad we made this decision. All staff was great and very helpful. Appointment went quick and felt like we got A+ care for our puppy!
Pricing is average- not a super steal, but not outrageous. I feel like I paid for exactly what I got- good, solid, professional, trustworthy care for my pet:)
When I moved back to Knoxville from out of state six years ago, I checked out a number of veterinary practices before choosing one. Lange Animal Hospital is the best one in the Knoxville metro area, hands down.
And Dr. Randall Lange is a very kind person. A while back, I was going through a tough time, and Dr. Lange and his staff helped to ease the burden on me. That means more than I can say. I can't imagine bringing my pet anywhere but Lange Animal Hospital.
Very thorough, vet even looked into additional questions I had...and got back to me.
Everyone at Lange Animal Hospital was extremely friendly and welcoming! I felt like my new puppies were in the best hands!
