We were broke down on the way home to Nashville from the smokies and employee Neil went over and beyond our expectations and got us back on the road within an hour and on a Sunday. Kudos to Neil!!!
Disappointed. I made an appointment for 4 pm for rotation/balance of tires and an alignment. We had to wait on our vehicle for 2 1/2 hours. When I made the appointment, I requested that Sears perform a couple of additional checks on the vehicle and please put it on the work order. The Sears rep said he would put in on the work order and would take care of it. They did not address either item. We had been there so long that I did not want to stay longer for this to be handled. I will definitely find another auto center and never return to Sears Auto Center on Kingston Pike.
They said they would get working on it right away. An hour later when I returned they hadn't pulled it in even though 2 mechanics were outside smoking with no other cars in the their auto bays. When I asked why they hadn't started they shrugged and pulled it in.
I went to Sears at Knoxville Center Mall, it was horrible! I took my car in to have the tires rotated and balanced free because I purchased the tires from there. I was told it would be 45 minutes to 1 hour. 3 and 1/2 hours later I was told they had to replace lug nuts and then replace another part. The little girl "Megan" was very rude and did not inform me of the problems until I chased her down as she was leaving for the day. I told her it would have been nice if she had told me what was going on. She is useless...Then upon finally leaving, the assistance manger told me the mechanics had broke one of my hubcaps and they had ordered a new one. I will never go back to Sears and highly recommend anyone thinking about going there for service...... DON"T
Horrible place.
Completely dishonest and trust worthy. They tried telling me conventional oil would destroy my car as well as telling me my battery was bad and needed replaced. Of course I had it tested at the auto parts store... nothing wrong with it. These guys will lie to you right in front of your face and take advantage of you if you don't know much about car maintenance.
This place has the WORST customer service available. I dropped my car off for an Oil change. He was rolled his eyes when I asked what kind of oil was used and replied, "the regular kind". Huh, last I remember there are many variations.
