My family adopted a red dun quarter horse from them a couple of years ago and he's amazing. He's had a lot of training somewhere along the way and now my daughter rides him. He's smart and has no behavior issues other than being afraid of the trailer.
Best equine rescue! Certified equine manager on staff, and dedicated volunteers! HHT works with local law enforcement agencies. They provide transport, housing, and rehab for abused & neglected equines.
Love Horse Haven! We volunteered there for two years and finally adopted two horses from there. They turned out to be awesome horses and have saved us in their own way.
Volunteering with this organization is frustrating. They allow you to go through hours of training then tell you that there is no place for you. They hired a new executive director and they left after two years; they told me it was a transitional phase and they new the new Director was not going to be there very long. It is sad that they are so difficult to work with because they have great mission.
