My family and I had a great time. Escaping the mansion truly can be difficult. The dude was cool and gave us some Clues . This would also be great for a team building exercise. We will be doing it again.
Really fun experience! Test your reasoning skills, exercise your brain and have a great time doing it. Excellent, friendly staff. Can't wait for my next trip!
This is my umpteenth time at Breakout Knoxville and my second time tackling Kidnapping. I took my employees to do this game for our Christmas party. Unfortunately our game host, "C" (name withheld because it's a management issue not a "review" issue), was a bit uptight. Actually a LOT uptight. His attitude made one of my employees irritated because we were there to have fun and he was clearly not a FUN kind of game host. Also a few elements in the room were non-functioning. The safe on the wall, WE SWEAR, did not work. Yes, we got locked out of it but it says it unlocks after 3 minutes. We waited at least 5 minutes. Nothing. There was no power to it. Our irritated game host finally came in and opened it. Also, the magnet on the wall to "release" the object didn't work. Beeped a million times. Our game host finally just gave us the "numbers" that were on the object. A previous gamer had written "numbers" and such on the back of one of the victims pictures. The game host didn't catch this and told us that information was not part of the game. Finally, the black light needs new batteries.
I'll be back...we will be back...but we will ask for a different...FUN...game host and ask the site to double check that all elements are working before we go in.
Our group of 4 had a blast this had been my second time at this location and their first. I have done both Museum Heist and the Mystery Mansion. Both were exciting. Our Game master was great he gave just enough information to keep us from being frustrated but not too much that we was giving stuff away. I will say 2 of our clues were broken which I will not disclose since it may give some of the mystery away in the game. overall it was a great time!
We did this for my dad's birthday. My husband, my parents, and I; plus two others, did the Operation Casino. I would NOT recommend this for your first time. Our guide said that he believed it to be the most difficult one as well. It was hard to find the first clue, but once we did, we really came together as a team to solve the clues and even though we didn't know the other two players, we quickly adapted. It was so much fun and full of surprises, nothing like I've ever experienced. We were ONE clue away from getting out!! Even though we didn't manage to 'break out' we did have a TON of fun. I would highly recommend this. Staff was polite and professional and focused to make sure you have a good time. I'm definitely going to do this again!
