Went for the first time last night to see The Eli Young Band and while it seems like it's a fun place the drinks are over priced and extremely weak. The outside staff was rude and unhelpful. Rather than telling us there was a smoking area out back on our second trip out to smoke they told us that if we went outside one more time to smoke we would have to pay get back in!!!
Ive went to Cotton Eyed Joe for 15 years but havent been in about a year cause i moved out of state. Well i was in town with a buddy and told him we have to go there and he'd love it. I told him that its the only club i know that youd get a hand shack before you entered. Well there was not a hand shake. On top of that it seemed like the employee were in the worst mood ever. I know it is owned by different owners now. If I were them id get the Joes back to where it used to be.
Hot. Very hot. Temperature-wise. No order at a concert, bodies packed, almost intolerably hot. But great music!
Need to update that place n clean it up a little but always great music playing n awesome artist singing their.
I have always loved Joe's- favorite night up until recently was Sunday night by far- I think it's college night? but now I'm 28- and I have to admit- I felt way out of my comfort zone last time haha! But that Didnt stop me from having a bad ass time! Whether your 50- or 21 you can have a great time!
