I can not express my appreciation for these people. I am 65 , my husband passed away this summer, he always took care of things when something tore up, anyway I was without heat and had ordered a gas Fireplace from Home Depot. I thought it was to be delivered on Fr. the 16th, I called Fri. and the lady that answered the phone explained how they deliver at residential and it would be the following week. I explained my situation, she put me on hold and when she came back she said her boss would deliver it that evening. When he arrived he was in his vehicle and he was the terminal manager. This morning I receive a call from the lady checking on me to make sure I was O.K. She said they wanted to make sure I was alright and that I had heat. I have not had customer service like that in years. God Bless these people they are surely angles among us.

If I could give this company less than 1 star, I sure would. Twice we have tried to have furniture delivered to our home and both times the company used Estes shipping out of Knoxville. Both times they refused to deliver the item because we live in an area with mountain roads. The first time we had to return the furniture to the company and go elsewhere to purchase the same item. The second time, when we found out it was Estes shipping, we spoke with Linda, who assured us they would end the item on a box truck, NOT a semi-truck. She actually called my husband's cell phone to tell us this. We were nervous, but we thought everything was under control (we live out of state and coordinate deliveries from our home in Chicago). First, they tried to deliver the item a week early, when no one was there. Of course the driver told my husband he couldn't deliver it, because, guess what??? He was driving a semi- truck. When my husband questioned this, the driver said, "Let me guess, Linda told you we would bring a box truck? She tells everybody that- BUT WE DON'T HAVE A BOX TRUCK." He further went on to share that Linda has been reported multiple times for customer issues but nobody will do anything because she is related to the Estes family in some way (wife of a manager? Not sure). I called Linda at Estes to find out how we could correct this. She proceeded to deny ever speaking to my husband. She claimed that she never, ever would have told him they would send a box truck. We settled on having the truck come when we would be there, further agreeing that the driver could pull into the flat part of our road, we would then take the boxes and move them up the rest of the road ourselves. (Keep in mind, we have had MANY items delivered by a semi-truck over the years with no issue. This is not a crazy steep mountain road.) So.... we get there. We go down to the road to meet the driver. He passes our street and calls us on our cell phones to tell us he won't turn into the flat part of the road and give us the items...because he doesn't want to have to back out! At this point I was LIVID. I basically had to beg him to pull in. My husband and a friend agreed to stand in the street on either side and block traffic so the driver would give us our items. This is company based in Knoxville Tennessee. There are mountains all over the place. Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Dandridge, Maryville....EVERYWHERE. For online companies like Wayfair, Hayneedle, etc THEY ARE THE ONLY SHIPPING/DELIVERY SERVICE in the area, yet they don't have a box truck that will make delivery on winding roads? Totally stupid. On top of that, Linda flat out lied about speaking with my husband about the delivery, and she got the delivery date wrong. When I asked her to go into her data base to look up notes on the delivery, communication, etc, she denied that existed. I work for the same type of industry. Your data base is where you record every piece of communication from beginning to end. WE will never use them again, for anything, ever.

Ordered a swing set from Walmart beginning of March and couldn't go pick it up myself because we don't own a truck so we decided to pay a $75 shipping fee, for the worst service I have ever experienced. The main office In GA and Knoxville terminal obviously have no communication when setting up appointments. I have taken time off for two different days for their shipping appointments only for them not to show up because some one named Linda has to set up the appointments for Knoxville Estes. I am not satisfied with this company and I am demanding our Walmart to look into a better delivery service and to give me a refund of the shipping costs. It was originally supposed to be here by March 16th and I still haven't received it.
