Used to love this place. Had a huge scratch and dent area and friendly staff. Now it's a typical high pressure sales store. They do have nice furniture though.

I purchased a couch and chair set from Haverty's under the impression that it was higher quality therefore worthy of the extra cost. What a disappointment! After 2 years, the couch is literally coming apart at the seams and you can feel every single spring in the cushions. It's the most uncomfortable piece of junk I've ever purchased. On top of that, within the first year the plastic piece on the bottom of each foot came off of one foot at some point and gouged my hardwood floors. Save yourself the headache and go to Big Lots. You'll save money and get better quality. FYI - the vendor of my product is Baja slapped with Havertys labels. As it turns out, Baja also sells their products at Walmart. The lesson- I paid twice the amount at Haverty's for something I could have gotten at Walmart (quality-wise, anyway). So, go to Big Lots or Walmart.
