Recliner I purchased was in stock and available for delivery.
The sales and servce representives were very knowledgeable and helpful, however their product and warranty are well below average. We purchased a chair and immediately noticed creaks and springs making strange noises. A call was made to the 800 number and were told this was an independently owned franchise and it was their responsibility. The store requires that you bring the chair in, drop it off and then pick it up. No thanks, bought another chair for half the price and love it. I would have been better off picking up an abandoned chair along the way rather than the one I purchased from La-Z-Boy.
The people are the best and the selection can't be beat, l highly recommend this store.
I purchased a chair that for me I felt was expensive and with that price I was expecting the quality of the chair to be equal. It is NOT, I have had it for 3 months now with nothing but continuous squeaks. They have repaired it once (I had to take it to them) and the squeaking is still continuously there. I am to the point where I just want to return it and move on... Oh but wait, they have a do not return policy!! I am allowed to bring it in again for servicing though. So I'm stuck with a chair that makes 10 x more noise than one I paid 75% less for. So glad I was sold on the quality and craftsmanship of La-Z-Boy...
Its rare that I write a review. Even when I've had a bad experience, I give the store the benefit of the doubt. Not this time. We picked out a love seat, and picked out 3 fabrics. Each fabric was a different price. I should have known something was wrong when they wouldn't let me take the quote home. We came back to the store, ready to buy. When the sales person came back with the price, it didn't match the quote we had been given. So I talked to the manager. I explained. The price was $100 higher in the store. I asked them to split the difference. The manager wouldn't. Before we left, we once again asked the sales person to talk to the manager. We explained that we would be writing bad reviews, and also would be calling La-z-Boy HQ. The answer came back no - N O. We asked for the manager's name, which they declined to give us. Hence we write. Buyer beware stores that won't provide a written quote.
