Being a business owner myself I considered this review for 7 months prior to posting it. Bad business all around.
Paid over a $1000.00 for a leather recliner which started to flake and peel four months after we had it (and an additional $9000.00 in furniture and appliances). After much consideration, it is unclear wether or not the recliner is actually authenticate leather, was certainly was sold as such. Conn's claimed it is not covered under the warranty. Really? Four months? Conn's sells furniture that will last 3 months tops? Outside that, good luck?
Finance mgr 'Derrick' nice but very condescending and argumentative. Online approval and add for the item i wanted was 36 month financing (NOTHING in the fine print about abything otherwise) . No mention of anything less in the email confirmation. After i get to the store the price on the washer/dryer unit was less but, he said i was only approved for one year financing, which shot my monthly payment up, then argued with me it was in the email. Lol i show him the email, mentions NOTHING about the 12 month only financing. Then he proceeds to tell me that I misinterpreted the email. This place is a bait n swap with shady business practices so beware

Visited this location on a Monday night with my SO and was practically stalked by the sales person. Made both of us very uncomfortable and not able to look at and discuss furniture options without a sales person breathing down our back AND writing stuff down on a notepad (which further added to the uncomfortable feeling). I feel more comfortable buying used furniture off of craigslist than I would buying new furniture at this location. Will not be returning.
I have purchased multiple products from the knoxville location. Multiple products have also tore up. A mechanism in my reclining Franklin couch started acting up about 8 months after purchase and a sliding mirror in my tv dresser started acting up after 4 months. Franklin supposedly has a lifetime warranty on mechanisms and the tv mirror was supposed to be fixed. Conns never would send anyone to look at the couch and their repair company "Fast Service or Furniture Repair" is a joke. They will only look at what is on the work order( which being in a repair industry I understand 100%) and four trips out for the mirror and it has never been corrected. After talking to customer service for the umpteenth time, the last lady i conversed with, basically just called me a liar over the phone concerning Franklin's warranty and said the mirror is now out of warranty. Stay away from this company! They will do nothing to help you and they do not stand behind the shawty name brands they carry. Their customer service after purchase is atrocious.
I purchased a washer and dryer from Sherry at the Knoxville location. She was extremely helpful over the phone and in the store. I have to tell you I had stopped at another store, let's call them 'lame buy', and couldn't get anyone to even come talk to me. Definitely not the experience I had at Conn's. Very attentive staff and very helpful when determining what I wanted and needed. Will come back for my next major appliance purchase for sure. If you want excellent customer service and value go see Sherry Springer at Conn's. She's amazing!
