We are traveling and this restaurant was a good find. Food was great! Service was good. We will remember this place for future travels.
I've gone here a several times for pizza and have enjoyed them all. They do it right with fresh ingredients and dough. The vegan pizza is pretty good too.
I have lived in Knoxville my entire life and the Tomato Head is without a shadow of a doubt in my top 5 list of favorite places to eat here brunch, lunch and dinner! The food never disappoints and the atmosphere of both the downtown location as well as Kingston pike location both deliver great vibes and showcase unique local artwork that gets rotated pretty regularly which is always nice to see and a wonderful added bonus. Food is always fresh and delicious, my top favorites on the menu are the Tuscan chicken sandwich, southwestern salad, chipotle tomato soup, and pizza with goat cheese and Lamb sausage. Whether you're a local or tourist the Tomato Head is a must visit!
After reluctantly switching to a vegetarian diet for environmental reasons I decided to give this place a shot. The food was very good and the service excellent. If it weren't 15 bucks for a veggie burger with chips and water I would give this place 5 stars. Other than being a bit high-priced for what you get this place was excellent.
Tomato head is one of Knoxville's most vegetarian friendly restaurants! Lots of delicious tofu sandwiches and specials. Plenty of options for meat eaters too. Their hummus is amazing and desserts are divine! We come here whenever we're feeling light, local food (so, very often!). One of Knoxville's best!
Overall, it's one of the better pies I've found in Knoxville so far and is quickly becoming a staple for me.
