I know what you're thinking... It's a hot dog place, how good can it be? Well, let me tell you - it's pretty stinkin' awesome. I can't say that I have ever been a hot dog connoisseur or anything, but after eating there I can tell you they are the absolute best. There's something about that toasted bun and the way everything comes together just perfectly. Now I crave hot dogs!
Great hog dogs at a fabulous price. The Ruben Dog is more like a Roast Beef Dog (the hotdog is wrapped in roast beef), so I would change the name. But name aside it was a terrific dog. The Covered Wagon Dog was also great, but I preferred the Ruben Dog personally. And my favorite was the chili cheese dog with slaw. The chili was terrific flavor for a topper and the slaw blended in nicely. Also don't miss out, order yourself some chili cheese fries and a milk shake too! I would pay an extra dollar per dog without blinking an eye! Wish they would open one downtown Knoxville. The kids working here today were friendly as well. Although they dumped the iced tea 30 minutes prior to closing. I hate when places do that. And it is foolishly common in the industry unfortunately. So I didn't get to refill my tea. But all else was perfect.
Great place, warm, friendly, good food, great prices, and service. Completely satisfied with the whole experience. You need to try this!
All of their toppings & sides are top notch, as well. The chili is great & the slaw has a crunch that is perfect on top of the dog. Heck, I'm not even a fan of potato salad, but I thought theirs was pretty darn good. Also never been a giant lover of baked beans, but theirs are definitely on the better side.

The guy that owns the shop also just seems super. He's always very nice, friendly, & makes consistently unbelievable hot dogs.
Food is great our only issue was there is no fries at this location unlike the food truck but and the mall locations but sure there is a reason but you need to give them a try. Comfort food at it's best we will be regulars
Staff goes out of their way to provide quality and service. Will definitely go back.
They also have a rewards program, so that you get a free hotdog on your fifth visit. If you become an addict like myself, those rack up pretty easily.
