Our beef is fresh never frozen, and comes from the mid-west. Our custard is also fresh but frozen (obviously) and also comes from America's Dairyland, Wisconsin. I promise everything is MADE TO ORDER, so that's why you wait a little longer for your food to come out. Would you rather wait just a little longer for fresh, made to order straight off the grill food? Or have a burger that's been sitting in a weird heater for 10-15 minutes waiting for someone to order it. That's your choice. We always use REAL BEEF and REAL CHEESE from family farms in Wisconsin. Why Wisconsin? Because that's where Culver's comes from. McDonald's and other fast food places use bogus beef. Would you rather have that, or a real, authentic great tasting burger you know is fresh.
Culver's is always busy but I finally stopped in for a first visit. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. They were helpful as they explained the menu and told me about the custard. I got my food and dessert to go, it came it fast and tasted great. I will definitely return!
I've been working here since the opening since September 2017, and they've treated me very nicely. I do love the job and the atmosphere around here, it makes quite a place to eat. I've seen quite a bit of negative, stupid reviews on here so let me explain how we do things around here.
The food was really good but drive thru was very slow. We ordered the bacon butter burger and two orders of fries. They were all tasty warm and delicious! We really liked the fries. The food came out in a relatively timely manner once we got to the pick up window but it took quite a while to get to the point where we actually ordered our food. It took about 15 min just to get to the ordering speaker.
My favorite thing about Culver's (besides the food - which is great!) is the employees. From the minute you approach the counter and throughout your visit, the Culver's employees are attentive, smiling, helpful, courteous and constantly available should you have a question or need. In addition to the exceptional food and customer service, the dining room and bathrooms are always kept spotless and ready for use (by the smiling employees, I might add). My only complaint - I wish they had more locations in Knoxville!
Definitely the nicest "fast food" joint to eat at. The nice folks who bring you food to your table almost double as servers throughout your meal by removing trays and trash from the table and offering to get you anything you might need while dining there. I was blown away. Comfortable squishy booth seats and a very clean environment make Culver's a definite standout among it's rivals. Oh yeah, the food is also amazing. I would almost consider this chain a sit down restaurant with a drive-thru vs. an eat in fast food joint.
