Everything from a server that got everything on our order wrong(Scranton, Pa location) to wanting to go in and enjoy a simple dessert with my wife(Knoxville, Tn location) and it taking a hour to get something that looked nothing like what it should and tasting worse.
The food was good and the people there great. T/A did away with the hostess. Saving money is going to be the death of this truck stop chain. You should have sold
If you are on the road and dont want fast food I suggest anything other than Iron Skillet. And if you are a professional driver I would bypass Petro all together, you would think that a truck stop would not charge truck drivers to park there.
Horrible. If I could write a word more negative and stay pg I would. This is the 2nd time this month I have given iron skillet a chance and it has sucked both times
Me and my wife are on the road all week every week and we will go without before spending a dime in here.
I scheduled a group of 10, two weeks in advance to arrive 11/11 at 11:45 and we needed to be finished and checked out by 1:00. The manager agreed. I confirmed the details the night before and was told no problem. We arrived at 11:40, it took 15 minutes to get our orders and we didn't get our food until an hour later at 12:40. Some of the tickets were wrong to. This is totally unacceptable and I have no intention to bring a group there again. Furthermore, I am a regular customer 4 to 5 times a week, that's gong to change to. Obviously this location can't handle groups.
At $15, the buffet is a good deal as they have a good selection. With staying busy, the food is always fresh. Not spotlessly clean, but clean. :D
Worst experience I have ever had at this location. Food horrible. Service passable(barely).
