We had reservations for a group of eleven people with a limited menu for our group. We first ordered our drinks. After about 15 minutes a couple of people got water. About 15 minutes after that our dinner orders were taken. We took this opportunity to remind the server that we had not yet received the rest of our drinks. The server then asked us again what we had ordered and brought the rest of our beverages, warm. When the soups and salads finally came there was confusion as to who ordered what since a different server brought some of them out. By the time my wife and I got our salads the rest of our party had finished theirs, and yet another server began bringing out our entrees. My wife had literally taken two bites of her salad when it was taken away to make room for her entree. Three people in our group ordered the jumbo shrimp. All three were burnt AND cold. Actually, our whole group agreed that the food and beer we're the same temperature when they were delivered. Finally when we were finished, most of the group decided they would take there leftovers for pets. Our server brought a stack of takeout boxes and just left them at the end of our table. I guess the funniest part of our visit was at the end of our meal. Six of us were sitting and chatting when a total of three different servers tried to serve us food intended for another table. One guy actually set a plate of food on top of one of the carryout boxes. In short, if you want a good laugh,or cry, go to the chop house. If you want hot food and cold drinks, go ANYWHERE else.
Extremely disappointed tonight with our meal because we typically don't have bad meals at Chop House. The service was slow, the food was tough and dried out as if it had been sitting for quite some time. However, on a positive note, the salads were very fresh and well presented.
Always great parking and friendly people! Food is very nice and romantic atmosphere but sitting at the bar enjoying good conversation is the best! Food prices are very reasonable but the taste will win anyone over!
Great place but service was way off on 12/16. Large party and apps and side came out on all differnt times. Then main Course was coming out the same time people were getting there soup and salads. A few other things I wont get into. Overall I was expecting a min 4 star from their price menus. Maybe next time..
