Fantastic shop for saltwater corals. Limited freshwater selection but super high end corals and fish.
My short review for JKS Aquatics is if you have an Aquarium as a hobby especially salt water you need to check this store out. They have an incredibly clean shop that is well stocked. Shawn and his assistant Conner know what they are doing and can help you with anything aquarium related, they sell top quality products and livestock, and they provide excellent customer service. JKS is one of the best organized and cleanest Aquarium stores I’ve ever seen. These guys really enjoy what they are doing and it shows. They have an excellent selection of corals and coral fragments and a great selection of fish as well. Everything I’ve purchased from them so far has been great and super healthy. Stop in their store you will not be disappointed. It’s just off Kingston Pike in the shopping center next to Rafferty’s

Very clean shop and well maintained tanks. Coral prices are reasonably priced and in good health. When you open the door the coral colors are unbelievable. If you haven't checked them out then you should you'll be impressed
Really nice fish and corals are healthy and priced fairly. My favorite is the dragon algae they have there and I would really recommend this place to anyone getting started or experienced. 5/5 stars.
Now for a longer review. I have a 30 gallon Salt Water nano cube and about a half year ago I got back into the Salt Water hobby and have had a blast. If you are familiar with the Knoxville scene and aquatic stores we only have a couple in the area that are worthy of going too. About a month ago I decided to get a second tank and found a great deal on a 125 gallon salt water reef aquarium setup that was running in great shape and I didn’t want to pass this deal up. So I needed someone to move this beast because I wasn’t physically able too. So I searched for a service to move the aquarium because I know there are aquarium maintenance businesses locally with no store fronts. So I was really surprised to find out JKS Aquatics was even in business in Knoxville as a store front because I thought I knew of all the decent shops open in the area. So I called to talk to them about moving my new aquarium and after talking to Shawn on the phone I really wanted to run by their store asap and see it. WOW! I was blown away by their facility and all they have to offer. They really have one of the best shops I’ve ever seen and been in. As I mentioned, I’m recently back in the hobby but have had aquariums on and off for over 40 years now. Anyone remember the Knoxville Tropical Fish store on Broadway where the performance car parts place is now that’s how long ago I started! Anyway, I setup a date to move my new aquarium and bought a few things that first day I went to JKS. Shawn was really professional and answered all my questions about the process to move my new aquarium and gave me great advice on the corals I bought from him he also helped me trouble shoot an issue I was having on my current setup, he also offered me a free bag of live brine shrimp since I bought quite a few things. Fast Forward a couple of weeks. Well my new aquarium is setup now and I could not be happier. I met Austin and his helper Ralph at the house where the 125 was located and we started the process. I was amazed at how organized and efficient Austin was at getting this huge tank broken down and loaded and ready to move to my house, taking great care to be clean and respect the owners house and property. In less than 2 hours we were on the road. Once at my house Austin and Ralph had the tank setup and running in a little over 3 hours. Now please understand they cleaned everything to look like new and made the tank look much better than we found it. They also took great care to be clean and not make a mess at my home. Austin has amazing knowledge of Salt Water, Fresh Water, and Ponds. Oh yeah they also do ponds and pond maintenance. I need to finish my book here but the bottom line is JKS Aquatics is a TOP NOTCH EXCELLENT aquarium store which also does onsite maintenance for aquariums and ponds. They do lean towards salt water support and products so if you have a salt water tank or are looking to get into the hobby you DEFINITELY need to stop by and see what they have to offer. Very helpful and if they do not have what you need they will get it. Great variety of corals and fish. Very well kept and great people that run the business
