For fifty bucks, I would have tolerated all of the above, but what I could not tolerate was when I was battling a cold and I get up on the morning of my big interview to find the SHOWER HAS NO HOT WATER!!! One shower knob controlled freezing cold water, one shower knob controlled luke warm water. At first I thought the pipes just needed to heat up, so I end up wasting twenty minutes waiting for it to heat up, but to no avail.
Couldn't get my key to work, and after 3 tries, was finally changed to another/better room. Old and dingy, but was clean. For "breakfast" the next morning, there was gravy. Period. No biscuits, toast, fruit, milk, cereal... just gravy at 7 am. When I asked the clerk when they would have breakfast, was told "that's all there is... our delivery didn't come yesterday." So.... no one did anything about it... and no one cared. Not a good way to do business. Staff was indifferent, at best. Won't stay again.
This was THE WORST place I have ever stayed! The toilet was filthy. The GPS said it was a Best Western...not! I would never, ever stay here again.
One of my two keys did not work. The phone cord was bad so the line was crackly. Half the channels on the TV came in as either static or semi-static.
Normally, I don't write reviews like this because I've worked in customer service and I understand that sometimes bad things are just going to happen. But when four of your basic amenities are not working (keys, phone, TV, & shower), then there is something seriously wrong with your quality control. I even wrote a customer complaint to corporate headquarters a few weeks ago but, surprise surprise, I got no response.
I told the lady at the front desk there was poop on my toilet seat, she said, I am so sorry. I will talk to the person who cleaned your room. Too late.... Trash behind the night stand. I shudder...
Overdosed in the parking lot. Wasnt a bad time. Would od again.
The rooms were filthy and the staff was not at all professional. For breakfast both mornings the food was cold or ran out early and was not replaced. For this price I expected a great deal more.
