Worst jewelry store I have ever purchased from. They sold me the wrong size ring. They sized me at 9.5 (which has been confirmed by another jewelry store) but the ring I got fell right of my finger. When I returned it they said they "tried to convince me" to go smaller but when I had tried a 9 in the store it was very tight. If you go to this store, and I would suggest not doing that, work with Alisha. Lisa is a terrible person and was very rude to me and my mother. When I was trying to get a replacement she said, "I'm tired of this back-and-forth." Well sorry, my dear, that's what it means to be in the retail business--making the customer happy and giving them what they paid for. The boss/owner seems like a nice guy but will swindle you if you don't check up on things. For example, I wanted my replacement ring ASAP (overnighted from their supplier) and when I made sure I would not be charged the extra fee (which Lisa was ready to do) he hesitated and then agreed not to do so. If I hadn't asked, I would have been charged around $20.
My now husband designed my ring and had it made here. The staff was wonderful and friendly. And my ring speaks for itself. It is the most beautiful and unique engagement ring I have ever seen! And I am the happiest bride I could be. :) Thank you guys. I would recommend you any day of the week! And I have…lol…so many ask who made my ring. I get compliments on it every where I go. :)
I bought my wife's engagement ring and wedding ring here. The engraving on the ring was incredible! Friendly staff, good selection, amazing custom work. I'll never buy jewelry anywhere else. Thanks you guys!
This is a terrible jewelry store. Don't bother--Knoxville has so many better jewelry stores.
My experience with Gemstone Designs was oustanding! For most men, picking out an engagement ring is a very confusing and stressful process. I would fall at the top of this category. Ron Litolff took the time to explain everything involved in picking out a ring in a very easy to understand way. He let me hand pick my center stone and combined two different settings that I liked into one. He was extremely helpful in helping me pick out every fine detail and bringing to life what I imagined in my head. The service was very fast and had outstanding quality at very reasonable price. His work is top notch and tough to beat in Knoxville. Please look at his website at all of the beautiful rings and jewelry he has put together. If you in the market for any jewelry, especially an engagement ring, I would highly recommend checking out Gemstone Designs. You will not be disappointed.
