We are thrilled to be in Knoxville and hope, if you are sincerely seeking to follow God's plan of salvation, that you'll join us for worship or Bible study.
When in search of a church in Knoxville we were not going to settle on a church that was convenient or popular, so we visited multiple congregations, focusing on the conduct of worship, the shepherds, the youth presence, the Bible class environment, and the preacher.
After much prayer and discussion we made it known that the church at Hardin Valley was going to become our new church family.
My family and I moved to Knoxville from Greensboro, North Carolina late in the year of 2015. In North Carolina we were blessed to have been a part of two church families, first the Winston Salem church of Christ and most recently the Deep River church of Christ. Both home to Christians seeking to be like the church Christ instituted in the first century.
HVCOC has an incredible youth program! Hardin Valley definitely has one of the largest Youth Groups in Knoxville. The youth minister does an incredible job keeping everyone involved and feeling welcome. My kids love coming to church because of it. What more could a parent ask for?
The love shown between our members models Christ's love for us. There are Bible classes for all ages. Our youth group is a great way for teenagers to connect and form life-long friendships.
In Hardin Valley we have found a family of Christians who love one another, are active in their faith, seek only to do God's Will with the Bible as their guide, are prayerful, and consider themselves temporary residents with Heaven as their destination.
