awaken city church is one of the best churches i've been to. The pastor, Youth pastor, and everyone there is extremely friendly and the services are very moving.
I've been there about half a dozen times so far. The worship music verges on metal, the atmosphere is friendly and comfortable, and I always get several "aha" moments out of the message. Some people wear cut off jeans, some dress up. The congregation is an eclectic mix of ages and styles, mostly white but not entirely. We are all God's children, and all are welcome.
Anointed worship, powerful preaching, incredible ministry time, great fellowship and genuine love; this is what you can expect to encounter here. It's hard to find a church that hits home in all these areas. I've been to many all over the country and this is one of the best. I think if you are in the Knoxville area, you should do yourself a favor and check this place out! You won't regret it.
Awaken City is one of the best churches I have ever been to. Honestly, they are some of the most loving, fun, and enjoyable people. Obviously no church is perfect, but this is the closest one to it I have found!
This church is small but God has his hand on this congregation and if you want to be around real Christian people this is the place. They did not hesitate to help me in my time of need and they honor what the bible says in Matthew 25.
