I cannot find a way to sing the praises of this facility any louder. I will not rent from anywhere else in Knoxville. From the exemplary customer service, to the clean and well-maintained vehicles, the rental experience here cannot be beat.
Addendum: I originally left this review 4 months ago. I am happy to say, I still feel the same way! Chris hands down is creating the best customer experience for EVERY customer he interacts with that I have seen.
Just went to pick up the car I booked last week and was told they did not have it and I would not be able to get it. I was offered a SUV at a reduced rate. I refused the offer because I wanted the car I booked. I will not be using Avis again because of other problems in the past.
We made a car rental appointment to pick up at noon. We show up at 11:55 and they are already closed, when they were supposed to close at noon. They can't wait for their appointment to show up?! I'm not sure I can recall a business ever being as unprofessional as this. Now we are stuck with no way to go on our vacation. Thanks Avis!
After booking a car and paying for it last Thursday I went to pick up today and after having to deal with a very homophobic sales clerk he told us that we could not rent a car and to call Avis for a refund. After spending an hour on the phone to talk a supervisor and they told that it would be about a week before the money was refunded to our credit card. We directly to Enterprise Rent-A-Car dealt with the nicest people and had a car within five minutes. What a waste of time dealing with Avis. Go to Enterprise if you want to good car and good people to deal with.
