The only reason I wanted to go here was because someone told me a guy named Dylan Klebold was here.
I went there for elementary school and that women does not know what she was talking about. SHE is dumb and there isn't even that much hype what.

They are extreme about teaching the test and not the children. You are just a number and they pass you down the conveyor belt. Who has a hug line where you are encouraged to leave your children as they go into the school and you can't go into the school without going into the office for a pass, where you are questioned about whether it's really necessary that you go inside. I understand safety, but it's a bit much. Please find a better balance.
A few weeks later, we moved and found a permanent house not in that school district. I never felt a connection with the teacher, the school, the principal, or the parents. My son's new school is phenomenal! Nice warm, loving environment where you can easily chat with your son's teacher about his behavior and learning. I do not have to fight the masses to drop off/pick up my child. Most importantly, I feel he is cared for and safe. I'm only one data point, but i felt it important to share some of my experiences with this school. Thank you and good luck!
My son broke his arm on their playground in mid September. The teacher did not see it happen. When the teacher told the nurse about my son's broken arm, the nurse asked if it was the twisty monkey bars (it was the twisty monkey bars). My son had to have surgery on his growth plates and two screws put in his arm. I understand accidents happen, but when your staff is well aware of a hazardous playset and nothing is done. I find this negligent and harmful. I asked the principal to look into it and I got a phone call that it was being investigated. (Never received any information after that)
Not worth all the hype! My son attended this school for 2.5 months in the 1st grade. It's extremely overcrowded. I feel like I'm waiting in line for black friday items when i showed up to that school.
