This was less than a desirable experience. I called ahead of time to get the requirements to register my out-of-state vehicle. I was told what those requirements were.
Fast, quick and friendly is are some of the words I can use to describe about the employees at this clerk's office. Much quicker service than the downtown location.
When I returned to the MVD, I was assisted by another staff member. This staff member then informed me that I needed additional documentation in the form of a lease agreement. I told her that I just spoke to another staff member that said I didn't need anything else. I then turned to the gentlemen the previous member was conferring with and he said he told her, however she did not tell me.
The first time I went to the MVD, the staff member didn't seem to know the requirements and kept referring to another colleague a few cubicles away. This is all fine, because she may not have had the knowledge. However, when she returned, I specifically asked if there was anything else I needed, and I was told no. I left, contacted my leasing company, had a copy of the title faxed to me, and back out the door I went.

After the MVD received the document, the senior member came out and informed me that my document had arrived. The rest of the transaction was seamless and he was very helpful.
Needless to say, I had to exit the office and rather than drive home, I called my leasing company immediately and had them fax it to the office.
