When I complained to the owner, I was told that the arrangement was fine and was made by the same person (who obviously was having a bad day the second time around, is all I can think!) Anyway, I was offered another arrangement, but declined--THAT wasn't the point! I just wanted the woman to realize that their standards are slipping-/and that's bad news for a business as competitive as a Florist. I know I will be keeping an "eye" on Abloom to see in which direction it goes!
Ordered half dozen roses for my daughter's birthday (to be delivered for an astronomical $10 delivery charge because I live out of state). Roses arrived , pretty arrangement but my issues are that the roses are completely opened and no "food" pack included to maybe help them last more than a couple of days. I'm somewhat to blame I guess because I asked that they pick out ones that smelled really good. Had no idea they would be completely open in order to get that nice smell though. Hopefully my daughter will get 2 or 3 days of pleasure out of them but doubt I would spend this much at this florist again($53 for 6 roses)!
Diane at Abloom was great to work with. She was very attentive and had excellent attention to detail. Our flowers were absolutely beautiful, and everything was done exactly the way we had discussed! She was also very helpful since we did not know much about flowers. In addition, she was mindful of price and suggested options of flowers at different price points to keep us within a reasonable cost. Thank you so much!
So a year later this month, when I wanted a Special Arrangement for my Sisters's Birthday, I called Abloom Florist expecting the same standards on my second time as the first! NOT SO! The arrangement lacked that special flair and creative detail shown to the first arrangement. It looked like a Poor attempt to copy the style but with inferior materials, unopened and overly tired flowers, and a cheap non-description container ! And a most non-pleasing color scheme! What happened to all that creative juice I saw before in the first order???
I was totally sold on Abloom Florist after I ordered a unique arrangement for my niece that I had seen at a friend's place. It was ALL and More that I expected. I was extremely excited that finally I had found a florist that doesn't always serve up the same-O things--but goes that extra creative " mile", making one feel that whoever made the arrangement took special artistic pride and enjoyment in doing so!
Diane and her crew are top notch. They created the most beautiful arrangements for my sister's wedding! I recommend them to everyone. Friendly, knowledgeable, creative, the best!
I'm new to Knoxville. I could have bought flowers anywhere. Ablom's is convenient to my house and I like to support small, local businesses so I stopped. The staff was great and arranged 6 beautiful roses. They were rearranging the store at the time. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the flowers and the friendliness of the staff. I will definitely stop there again. I know my wife loved the roses.
