I've shopped at this GC over 20 times in the last 2 years. This place always has a great musicians' vibe to it. I can only speak for myself, but the service has been consistently great, and the staff has always found ways to save me money on what I was buying. Returns have been hassle-free. Jack and Caleb are great. Aaron B. was the go-to-guy, but the Music City called him away. To answer some critics' comments, when it's wall-to-wall in there, it's just like a 5-star restaurant: it may take a while, but it's worth it.
A bunch of punk used car sales people.Do they really think their prices are reasonable? “Oh I wouldn’t buy from brand x.” “I only use these. The price is definitely worth it!” They act as if they are doing you a favor for being open. We desperately need competition in Knoxville!
Went to shop for a mandolin and they only had 2. Yes 2. This is smack dab in the middle of the Appalachian region and no mandolins to shop for. This store is mainly for electric guitar shoppers.
I went in looking for a stand for a guitar for my dad. I stood around at the counter and waited on someone to help me and never got helped. Ended up walking away to take my daughter to the restroom. When I got back I asked someone at the register if they had the type of stand k was looking for and he said if it isn't by the other stands then we don't have it and went back to doing what he was doing while I was still standing there.
