The past two times I have been to Parkway Dental I have been furious when receiving my bill. Time before last, it was time for my annual bite wing X-rays. They were done, then the hygienist cleaned my teeth. I was having an issue with a front bottom gum area. No doctor was in the building. So, the hygienist gave me a mouthwash and sent me on my way. No dentist even reviewed my X-rays!!!!! Then, I received a bill for the mouthwash the hygienist just handed to me was I was leaving and never told me it was ~$20!
I have never in my life been so frustrated with a dental office. The one star is because they do get you in and out quickly. Other than that, I am extremely unimpressed and disappointed.
This past visit (last month), I did actually get to see the dentist, and my gum had gotten worse. (Imagine that!?!) Additionally, the hygienist told me that my insurance covered fluoride and asked if I would like it, since it was covered as part of my cleaning. I agreed. Just this evening, I received a bill for $39. Guess what for...fluoride!!!
