Teresa, the receptionist went above and beyond helping my husband and I yesterday. Miranda, the hygienist was nice and also gentle with her cleaning. However, Dr. Jones was rude. He was unprofessional, condescending and rude. He didn't answer my questions and tried to intimidate me into getting all the work done regardless if my insurance covered it or not. At reception afterwards, I requested to change to Dr. Morgan. Hopefully, she will have a professional, polite approach. I haven't met her so the jury is still out on that. I wish the exit desk wasn't in the lobby because I didn't want to air my complaint in front of other patients.

The staff who work in this office are fantastic! The Dentist himself leaves something to be desired. He was told my son has anxieties with dentists and he had to take something to calm him down. It went down hill from there. He didn't talk to him and tried to shove things in his mouth. I'm totally disgusted with him. If you want to be treated with TOTAL DISRESPECT he's your man...

Does anyone know if Emilio medellin is at this American Dentistry Kingston in Knox?

Terrible experience here. I would not recommend this office or Dr. Jones to anyone. First off, I called requesting an appointment for my TMJ (which they specifically say on their website that they handle) and after going to the appointment and waiting almost an hour to be seen I'm told they don't handle TMJ in that office and I'd need to go to an orthodontist. Clearly they could've told me that over the phone! They obviously just wanted the money from the appointment. Secondly, in the less than five minutes that Dr. Jones spent with me he starts pulling on my jaw telling me to open it wider and getting frustrated with me, so I try to tell him that I CANT open it which is the whole reason for the visit (which he should've known) so then he snaps that me that he can't look at my teeth while I'm talking so I needed to be quiet. Then proceeds to trying to stretch my jaw again. He did not care at all that I was in pain. He was so rude and inconsiderate. I will never be back here and I will certainly be warning anyone I know not to come here either.

I got my wisdom teeth out and as they were giving me local anesthetic the doctor mentioned I could possibly have a lifelong tingling in my jaw. Mind you, this is not crucial I get them out, purely cosmetic so I can get pretty straight teeth. I was not given a decision in this or a warning, just come in next week before my benefits renew, aka, right before Christmas. Keep in mind I am a single mother of a 4 year old. They sent me home with ibuprophin. I happen to notice the dea number is missing, so that is probably the strongest hee can prescribe is the counter stuff. He sewes up my gaping holes (they are already fully grown out) And makes a web for the small amount of food I managed to eat to be caught in these large holes that were basically left completely open and draped with string. After going back he tells me the first round of antibiotics failed and I have an infection. Explains the blinding pain. And the antibiotics he is now prescribing may give me an allergic reaction, but he does not fail to mention that with or without the antibiotics, there is about an equal chance I will land in the hospital. Merry Christmas to me and my child, who will only be 4 once. But hey, they got me in in under a week and it was super cheap.
