The physical therapist I saw was very nice -- I would give her five stars, but my experience with the administrative side of BenchMark was not good. Make sure you read the fine print, because you apparently can't trust the employees to properly explain how much you will end up paying. I have a percentage copay for office visits, so when they told me $20 per visit, I assumed that was my percentage. What they did not say was the $20 is just a holding fee. They didn't give me an actual insurance estimate, and what I thought was $160 in services turned into $560, and it was so long before they billed my insurance, I didn't realize this until I was 8 visits in. They should give you an ACCURATE estimate BEFORE you start services -- not wait until you're in debt up to your eyeballs.
I want to say "thank you" to a very sweet lady that encouraged me to join the Benchmark Therapy family. Seven months ago I experienced a physical setback that I have to admit was the hardest battle I have ever had to fight. I came very close to having my lower leg amputated, but thanks to wonderful doctors they were able save the leg. After surgeries, and recovery I was strongly encouraged to find a Physical Therapist to help with walking normal, again. Sandra Walker took her time to locate a facility that would be convenient for me to get to and contacted my insurance company to get everything expedited. Wow, I didn't have to do a thing other than show up for my first appointment at Benchmark Therapy in Powell,TN. Thank you, Sandra, for caring enough to go out of your way and being a part of my physical wellness.
