Dr Mark Nelson is the best Doctor to give the injections in your back for pain. He gets it right every time. He has put them in my shoulders and the pain stops right away.The nurse's are so sweet and make you feel at peace. I get nervous about going to the hospital but not there. I have been going to Dr.Mark Nelson since 2008. It's a great group to be around. They are always friendly
The clinic is not labeled and has to share a waiting area with another part of the hospital. The office is a converted closet that forces an admin assistant to be crammed in their with an extra chair. It's clear that the Pain Clinic is not looked upon by Tenova management as an asset and they're fine with having the black sheep of the hospital out of sight and out of mind. Major improvements are needed and the professionalism is none existent.
I have had several injections at the clinic and they have all helped with the pain. I love that the office is not in the hospital and I am treated like a person and not a number. The staff to date has been very professional. I have had one bad nurse out of all the many visits I have had but she is no longer there. I am scheduling another appointment as soon as possible. I also like that they no longer prescribe narcotics as I do not have to deal with those that are there just to get drugs.
