Dr. Wood has always listened, given excellent, practical advice and been very kind to me. I would highly recommend him.
I was sorry to read the review from wanttabe mommie, Dr.Wood and his staff have all been professional and carrying for my needs and my family's needs. I have a life long dease and other issues that he has treated for years professionally and with a kind and carrying way. Yes, he will point out ways that I can help myself, such as lose weight but he Always does so in a kind and carrying way.

I thought I had a good doctor. Then, as a 35 year old woman I started coming down with chronic, widespread pain (I never wanted/asked for pain medicine), fatigue, numbness, tingling, burning pain in my hands and feet. I have been crying myself to sleep at night. I have found it hard to get through my everyday life. I asked for a rheumatologist referral which Dr. Wood would not provide me. My spine doctor did refer me and i was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, which the rheumatologist said should be managed by my primary care physician. Dr. Wood said that he doesn't believe fibromyalgia is real and that it is just a type of depression. Dr. Wood got loud with me during my visit and said that he does not treat fibromyalgia. He told me that he dreads coming into the room with me. So sorry that I am someone with health problems. So sorry that he is asked to do a job and that is to care for patients. Bottom line, if you are someone who needs a caring doctor, go elsewhere. If you are someone who has an illness that is considered an "invisible illness" do not waste your time in this office. You should only go here if you have a physically evident disease that Dr. Wood can see, feel, hear, or taste. Otherwise, it doesn't exist. I hope I have helped someone else avoid the heartache that I have endured.
