The team at Trinity Medical Associates Knoxville has to be the most caring and friendly medical team I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The Doctors know their stuff and take the time needed with you. They really care. The support team is also awesome. Having a walk in-clinic is helpful when my primary care Physician is busy. I can't recommend them highly enough and consider myself fortunate to be in their care!
They make visiting the doctor not a pain. They are nice and always willing to help!

I called last week to make an appointment for my healthy 17 year old son who needs two vaccinations. Simple right? He doesn't even need them for school, so no timeframe.. no scheduling limits..no paperwork. The scheduling person was obviously irritated that I called (?isn't this your job?). I gave her my son's info, she said that he had only been seen on the walk in side and was not an established patient. After a 10 second pause....she asked if I wanted to establish him as a patient. I said yes, I would like to do that. She asked who I wanted him to see so I told her that I see Dr. Urbano. She promptly told me that she is not accepting new patients. Ok that's fine, is there someone else that is accepting new patients? She states to me that the other doctors are booked out through August. Ok, we would be happy to see a nurse practitioner or PA (they rock in my opinion). I said, he once saw a male PA that was great, can we see him? She said I'm not sure who you are talking about but he probably only works on the walk in side. OOOKKK. Is there another NP or PA we can see?? First available?? She said I had to tell her who we wanted to see and that she was not going to recommend someone. I told her that I was unfamiliar with their providers so it didn't really matter to me. She told me that I need to go on the website and review their profiles and decide who we want to see and until I do that she can't make the appointment. Seriously? I told her to forget it because she couldn't possibly make it any more difficult for me to make a routine appointment. I hung up on her and found another practice that wanted the business. They treated me with respect and courtesy. I manage a large private practice in the Knoxville area. Trinity Medical, you should be ashamed of how your staff treats patients. This wouldn't fly on my watch.
