We went to check out the ice cream. It was ok but I would not call it the best in Knoxville at all. (That's a personal preference.) Took home a piece of cake too which was too sweet to eat and I love cake. The place could use some love. It just felt tired and wore out and could use a good cleaning. Didn't try the food. Based on cake and ice cream doubt we return to try it.
Best ice cream! They have a bunch of flavors and they are all rich and creamy. With unusual and surprising flavors such as "Movie Night," a popcorn flavored ice cream, and classics like chocolate chip, there are flavors for everyone's taste. My fav is the Death by Godiva. It is a rich super chocolate one that totally hit the spot. They also have very tasty grilled cheese sandwiches with a variety of toppings. We tried the BBQ mac and cheese grilled cheese--Yum! Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. I was able to try a lot of samples before deciding on the ice cream I wanted. Oh I almost forgot--they let you mix 2 flavors in one scoop for those of us who have a hard time picking just one. Plus, they have doggy ice cream, so we sat outside where our dog could enjoy his ice cream too. This will definitely become a regular place for us.
Last night, I had a nightmare that It's All So Yummy moved to a new location and changed their style. They had become a hipster joint with bland sandwiches and only five flavors of ice cream. I awoke, heart racing, and upset, only to remember that is was Half-Price Cream day (Monday), and I happily scurried off for a delicious lunch. Every item on the menu is wonderful, it had the best ice cream in Knoxville, and their monthly specials are always inspired. I also suggest you try one of Bobby's deviled eggs. He's always experimenting with new versions, and I haven't had a bad one yet.
We went to the sneak preview of their new Meat and Two dinner last week. Everything was delicious! You can dine-in, call ahead and they'll bring it to your car, or come in and pick up. They also have a nightly salad bar that we really enjoyed. This is a really convenient way to feed the family quality food, on a budget, when time is short.
This place literally has the best ice cream and grilled cheese I've ever had in my life. The staff is also extremely friendly and accommodating.
