Really great. Helpful officers. Called Raleigh, NC, when my daughter was stranded in the dark on I-40 near Knoxville around Christmas time. She was traveling from Nashville to Raleigh. They checked on her twice, while she was waiting for a tow. When it didn't come, I called the SHP, and they sent someone to get her right away and to take her to the hotel I reserved for her at the next exit up. Very helpful on the phone, and very helpful to my daughter. These officers are awesome.

Please set up a cruiser at the Watt RD & Kingston Pike intersection. I am a resident that moved to the are last year, & also a CDL Class A holder. I have noticed, just going to and from the house, night and day on a regular basis, trucks (tractor trailer or combination vehicle), box trucks (strait frame truck), and hot shots (DOT numbered "for hire" pickup hauling a trailer) getting off at Watt RD (exit 369) turning left onto Kingston Pike, turning left again on Campbell Station Rd, just to get back on the interstate, avoiding the Weight Station. Or getting off at Campbell Station, making a right onto Kingston Pike & running it to Lenoir City to get on I-75. I have followed a few of them just wondering if that's what they were really doing. Weather it's an overweight load, illegal load, or an illegal log book, there are sign's, & as a truck driver, we all know it is illegal to bypass a weight station. Some claim that they can't make any money unless they wrong illegal, I beg to differ. I'm doing just fine and have never had to run illegal. I could name a local company that my fiancée went to that told her not to do her log's until the end of the day that is running all of their driver's illegal. That's the reason she only worked there one day.

I went here to see if anybody wanted to drag race on I-40, but very few people seemed interested.
