I understand he probably has the right to refuse an exchange or refund based on Pilot's store policy, but I'm fairly certain that yelling at your customers, insulting them, and then trying to physically grab them is not a part of the store policy there or any other place I've ever shopped. And I can't believe he thinks it's acceptable for a Pilot employee to act in such a manner.
I've been coming to this pilot for 6 years now, the other day I grabbed one of those six dollar phone chargers out of the bucket by the register and bought it with my coffee not thinking too much about it. Well, turns out I grabbed an iphone charger that had been put in the android bucket by mistake.
There's a Weigel's less than half a mile up the road, I'll just shop there instead and skip the part where I get publicly insulted and then grabbed at by a fat, angry little man on a power trip.
So I took it back today, unused (6 days later because I work full time and was busy) and explained what happened and asked to exchange it and was told no, no exchange and no refund. On top of that, the store manager first attempted to grab the charger that I had already paid for and forcibly remove it from my hand, then proceeded to yell at me in front of an entire store full of customers that it was my own fault for not looking closely enough at the product I was buying before I left the store.
This is not the first time I've had to deal with this man's sh*tty attitude - I shop here several times a week and he is ALWAYS rude and unhelpful to his customers - but this is the first time he's ever attempted to physically touch me.
